I had a long day yesterday. I went down to Sydney with Carol Wood, who's up here visiting. We went to Newtown to scour the 2nd hand bookshops for National Lampoon collections. Had a great curry there. Anyway, the trains in Sydney are all out of whack and it was a struggle to get there and back.
Got home about 8pm (after necessary shopping), then had to feed the pets, and go back out to NEON (a local transgender support group). I was celebrating the 10th anniversary of my changing my name, from which I marked the start of my gender transition. That being the case, I needed to be with that group.
Then I waited for Amelia Walker to arrive. She'd flown in from Adelaide earlier that day and didn't get to Cardiff station until early morning.
A long day, but a good one.
