Laura Seabrook's Ramblings

Well, I heard back from the friends who might have been going to HELLFIRE, and one set isn't, and the other mightn't, so...

...I'm going to go to the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Fair Day on Sunday instead! I normally miss this, because there's always a club on Saturday, or some other reason. Yahoo - looking forward to this, now.

Also, apparently there's a Pagan float this year - I'm interested, especially as I already have a queer pagan flag:

I had an urge to go to the Hellfire Club tonight. I probably won't. I've been staving off a UTI all week, and that isn't something you want to have if you're in a corset! It looked like one or two friends might be going, but nothing is certain, as one person needs a baby sitter, and the others might change their minds anyway.

I've known so many folk who go to this club. It has an attraction to me, as I like goth styles and find latex and interesting fashion statement (but aren't much into B&D play). It just seemes like it might be a lot of fun.

Maybe I should make a point of going NEXT month with friends. that would be cool. It's not much fun being excited if you're also slightly ill.
