The following is a thumbnail of my work "VERSAS" which went on exhibition yesterday:

Versas_Set01 Versas_Set02 Versas_Set03 Versas_Set04 Versas_Set05 Versas_Set06 Versas_Set07 Versas_Set08 Versas_Set09 Versas_Set10 Versas_Set11

Each strip or set is a digital print and measures 10 inches wide by 40 inches tall.

I'm really pleased that I was able to produce this work in time for the > Pink exhibition. Apart from my Honours exhibition (which took place at the University Gallery, which few people went to) and a couple of displays of a pop-up book I did on Gender, this is the first real exhibition my work has been in. The hardest thing was that I was suffering badly from the worst flu, and was virtually incapacitated for 2-3 weeks. Everything came together on the day, however.

Versas_Set01Hmmm. Got to the first panel (of eleven), after a lot of selecting and scanning of source images. Chose a different effect for this one (and which they may vary on each panel).

The final version will be 10" x 40". Got another ten to do now...

...hmm, might be an idea to sleep a bit.

The idea is in the blending of two underlying images. Any good?

I have only four days left...
