Kaaterskill Falls
Mar. 23rd, 2006 10:58 amYesterday, Beth, Cathryn, CHelsea and myself went for a hike to Kaaterskill Falls.
This is such a great place. Even at this time of the year (or especially?) when the falls and the river are frozen, and you can see tributorys also froze, it just radiates what I can only call "Earth Power". It was a good hike. I was really glad to go there. We hunted for a rock that had been photographed before and eventually we found it. Kathryn had a bit of a struggle in this weather, but there was no deadline, and she's seeing the Chriropractor today anyway.
Later, we went to Kingston and to a WAL-MART and then to something called SAM'S CLUB for food. Heard about WAL-MART via Mike Moore and South Park. It looks like K-MART times five. Finally we watched the 4th Harry Potter film. It was OK, but having not read the book, it lacked something for me.
