Went to the library last night to listen to a travelling storyteeer relating of the history of early Feminism in America. It was really well told. Later Chelsea played 1920s piano, which really set things off.

Later that night was a an anime fest - I watched episodes of Ranma 1/2 (also see the aaanime.net page), which is a bout a young martial arts fighter who turns into a Girl when dowsed with COLD water, and a Boy when dowsed with WARM water! When Beth returned we finished watching the Outlaw Star. Here I am at Gallae Central House and most folk here are into Heinlein, Whedon and Amine!

Just been to a "10,000 Year History" (not its proper title) which was a filmed workshop about the Goddess. It was good, but I was very tired and a little bit cranky. I need some sleep before tonight's rituals.

Earlier in the day I went with Helen to Woodstock to pick up Julia. We went straight there and despite neither of us having been to Woodstock before, or knowing exactly where she was, we found her first go. On the way back however we ended up in Saugerities (see local map). This sounds like Socrates mispronounced but looked like it had a lot of local colour. Except that no one we asked knew how to get to Palenville. We eventually got directions at a service station.

However, and odd thing about getting lost. I think we did so could see a sign for Key Bank (see right). I've been focussed on the Key being a symbol for Cybele, and there it was, just perfect. Also on the way home we followed car which had a bumper sticker saying "The Goddess Dances". Sure enough, we followe it all the wy back to the house! It was Jamie from Georgia, who'd just driven 15 hours to get here.

Serendipity always mean that I'm on the right track, despite myself. *GRIN*
