Well I feel the "healthiest" I've been for quite a while. Not that such is saying much. My head isn't spinning with dizziness, my chest isn't palpitating with breathlessness, and I even almost feel "OK".

But I still have a lot to do today, and the house (and kitchen in particular) is a mess. I haven't been well enough to do any washing up for a week, and Kevin just lets food scraps, plastic bags and crap drop where it falls on the work bench, rather than put them in the bin a metre away. I can't do any cleaning up this morning either, as the sound will wake him - he normally sleeps until 11am. I'm annoyed and pissed off over my scooter still, and feel that it was falsely advertised as being in "excellent" condition when in fact it was only "fair".  Grrr!

In fact, I feel like I'm in a funny place emotionally. Won't take any action until after the tooth is out and I recover, as this may just be an aberration over the pain I'm feeling with that.

Help Needed

I need to sell my car and have no real idea how to do it - can you help me?

The car is a Nissan Pintara Station Wagon, 1988 model.

There's no point in keeping it any more. It's unregistered, has engine troubles and a flat battery. It'd cost me too much to fix and get re-registered and besides which, one of the worries I've been having of late is that my epilepsy may be returning (I woke up last Tuesday morning feeling like I'd had seizure in my sleep, which is why I got drunk that night on Port) and if that's the case I may not have a license with which to drive anyway (hence the electric bike which doesn't need a rego or a license).

But it still has value. Someone else might be able to fix it and get it running, or use it for spare parts. It has an LPG gas tank in the back, and the engine got a new air filter that works fine.

What's the best way to advertise my car? How much should I ask for it? I don't want to ask too much, but I also don't want to under-price it either.

Suggestions please.

With Kevin's encouragement, I just sent this to the seller on eBay:

I would like a partial refund on the electric scooter I paid for. After checking with the distributors I found it needs a new controller to run properly and checking the framework we saw it was riddled with rust. Also, the listing on eBay included a manual and a 'Rear wheel locked alarmed security device'.

I know you were going to post the manual, but the security device is also missing. This isn't the lock on the back tyre, it's a separate cable that comes with the bike. I have been very ill for over the last week and a half, or I would have responded earlier on this. With a flat back tyre and a battery with low charge, it was impossible to test at the time. The page for it reads "excellent condition", which is why I bid on it in the first place.

I would like a refund of $250 (I am open to negotiation on this) which will cover the cost of repairs on the bike to bring it near to the condition as advertised, otherwise I'll need to pursue other avenues to remedy the situation.

We'll see what happens.

Decided to check up with the Dental Clinic about my appointment today.

First, they couldn't find anything (under my name). Then, when I pointed out that I had an appointment card for 2:50pm with someone else's name they checked again, and yes, I have an appointment at 3pm (I double checked on that). The last thing I did was check the time at their end - it matched.
