I'm supposed to go to a "TAFE Alumni" luncheon today (and maybe a Hunter Apana committee meeting afterwards) but I'm not at all up to either. Still feeling down with this flu.
I've emailed Sharon about getting a lift to the luncheon (she only lives a suburb away) but don't know if she's going, or will get the e-mail in time. Not really happy about driving my car on the roads today (didn't go out at all, yesterday) - we're both a bit sick!
Feeling unsettled today.
Didn't go to Wake the Dead last night (best not to when I have the flu). Couldn't get a lift to the Alumni luncheon. At 2pm I'm going to a Hunter Apana meeting but I'm not terribly keen on it. There was also a QC meeting on in Sydney, but starting at the ridiculous time of 5pm (obviously not meant for out-of-towners). Hmmm.
Been watching I Claudius. I'd forgotten just how much I identified with the title character. He was epileptic, and had other disabilities, but his intellect was as keen and sharp as anyone else. Gasp - Patrick Steward has just appeared as 'Serjanus' (he's just killed 'Posthumus"). Golly, he looks young.
Got back from the meeting. Fed the pets - Jeb turned up for a play. I feel cranky, tired, depressed and and sick.
No Sahmain musings today - tomorrow maybe.
