I read on [livejournal.com profile] ksleet's journal a post querying the possibility of time travel. I made a comment, and later posted another comment with a link to a post on time travel paradoxes I'd done under [livejournal.com profile] octobrianaoz.

Then I discovered that I'd made this link on the three year anniversary of making that original post! Hmmmmmmm...

You know, I couldn't help think how ironic things are, what with the way that David Hicks pleaded guilty, and how the British troops that were captured by Iran admitted their guilt.

Both seem to have gone the easy road for a "quick release" (though David Hicks has already been confined for a while). The techniques mentioned in the press conference I saw earlier today, seem to match the sort of crap that has been reported from Guantanamo Bay.

What's the difference?

Just saw a short film on SBS about a man who goes to the store to buy dental floss, and no one's ever heard of it, and he can't find any record of the concept, anywhere.

I've been to stores like that and had the same results. the last time it happened was when I tried to get a container of liver flake dust. You just tip it into your cat or dog's meal and they snap it up. Not only do they no longer sell it (you can get liver flakes in big packets) but no one remembers it either. Just reminds me of 1984 - see you don't need a Ministry of Information, because people adjust their memories anyway.
